SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
The Company shall, in all its undertakings observe the following
objectives:
- To contribute to the prevention of onboard accidents, injuries and
illness;
- To contribute to avoid damage/s to vessel/s and property/ies;
- To contribute to have a safe and pollution-free vessel operation.
The Company's policy is therefore in cooperation with the principals
to safeguard the crew employed against injuries and accidents. The Company shall emphasize to the crew and the office staff
that all work on board and in the office shall be performed with due regard to safety, health, property and environment.
The Company has identified safety and the environment as two vital
areas of concern that need to be effectively controlled to prevent unnecessary injuries, loss of life, damage to health, property
and degradation of the environment.
The Company shall be guided by the IMO's International Safety Management
Code as applicable to its scope of operations.
The Company shall ensure that the Management shall lead the exercise
to manifest its commitment to safety and environmental protection.
The Company shall ensure that the staff, both office and shipboard
personnel are constantly reminded of their respective safety and environmental protection awareness and consciousness to become
actively involve in identifying possible hazards, implementing corrective action and constantly monitoring all aspects of
their working environment to ensure safety conditions prevail at all times.
